Eligibility
Entries are open to amateur golfers who will have reached their 55th birthday by September 22, 2009, hold membership in a club belonging to one of the six New England State Golf Associations and have an up-to-date USGA/GHIN Handicap Index not exceeding 7.5 (for ages 55-64) and 9.4 (for ages 65 and up). Each State Association may use a limit of less than 9.4 if the number of applicants exceeds that State’s number of allotted entries. The field is limited to 120 players.

Each State Association shall determine which entries it shall accept, up to and including the number allotted to it as shown below:
- Connecticut - 28
- Maine - 10
- Massachusetts - 42
- New Hampshire - 15
- Rhode Island - 15
- Vermont - 10
Entries are subject to rejection at any time (including during the tournament) by NEGA. The reason for rejection may include unbecoming conduct.
Completely executed entry and payment Entry forms must be received
at the New England Golf Association Office by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August
6, 2009. Entries must be sent to the New England Golf Association
only.
